Server Sign Language

One thing that Guests consistently complain about is when someone tries to clear their plates before they’re finished eating. (I happen to agree with them on this, it’s bad etiquette on the service end).

However, from a service point of view: sometimes we just can’t tell when you’re finished….. It’s just miscommunication.  Luckily, there is some universal sign language, that, if used, will solve this problem completely and you will never again be interrupted during you’re meal.  I promise!

Keep your silverware apart and that tells the Server that you’re still eating.

Keep your silverware together and that tells your server that you’re done eating.

Happy Dining!
