Ok, we all remember the Seinfeld episode where George double dipped his chip. Actually, there is a study, that was published in The Journal of Food Safety, that claims it was inspired to conduct the study because of that episode.
What the study found is that 3 to 6 double dips transferred @10,000 bacteria from the eater’s mouth to the remaining dip. So basically, it’s like everyone sticking their tongues in the dip…..now if one of those people happen to be George Clooney: I’m good.
Just don’t do it…it’s gross.
Now all of this talk of dip has left me craving my sister-in-laws Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip….here’s the recipe. ENJOY!
1 Block of Cream Cheese
1 Block of pepper Jack Cheese
1 Bottle/container of Marie’s Bleu Cheese Dressing
1/2 bottle of Texas Pete’s Hot Sauce, (NOT the buffalo sauce)
1 Pound of shredded chicken (get a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and go to town)
Combine all ingredients and bake at 350 until hot and bubbly.
