Food Bloggers?

I have a question for all of you: If you are a food blogger, and you make yourself known at the restaurant you’re dining in AS a food blogger, should you have a list of dietary restrictions?
The other night I observed a food blogger having a tasting menu at a Michelin Star restaurant and he had a very long list of dietary restrictions….NOT allergies, restrictions: no salt, no raw, doesn’t like fish, no pork though pork stock is ok, specifically demanded certain menu items be included, (which doesn’t happen during a Chef’s tasting), etc.
If you are a food blogger, shouldn’t you eat food and all kinds of food? I would understand if it were an allergy and you were blogging about how you can still have amazing food and experiences at restaurants regardless of said allergy; but I don’t understand the list of things that were just dislikes. If you make your living writing about food, shouldn’t you eat all food?
Thoughts?
