Here is a very interesting article in the New York Times regarding tipping.
I actually agree with MOST of what he has to say but I think this is a very slippery slope.
I spoke with some professional, Michelin Star, servers last night and asked what they thought about this….it was actually unanimous:
*”If you want to get rid of tips and give us a salary that is equivalent to what we make every year AND give us sick days and vacation days and benefits that come along with being a salaried employee….then we’re all in.”
definitely worth a conversation….thoughts?
